The first fortnight
Tell us inside a fortnight of the opening charge that this is not right for you, and the entire first month goes back. No form to complete, no call designed to keep you, and no debate about whether you used it enough to hold an opinion.
One message to concierge@redcarpetcomputing.com is the entire process. A person answers it.
After that
Stop it whenever you decide. Renewal is the thing that ends. Coverage you have paid for stays live through to the final day of that month, rather than disappearing at the instant you click.
We do not apportion part months, though two things are always put right without any discussion:
- Any circumstance where the law entitles you to be repaid.
- Any charge we got wrong, whether a quantity counted badly, a duplicated charge, or a renewal billed against a line you had already closed. That is returned whole.
What stopping a line does
Closing a line closes whatever it was buying, and the consequences are worth knowing before you close it.
- For a backup line, whatever it was holding is destroyed on the schedule the platform keeps. Pull out anything you still want beforehand. Need more time? Ask, and the line stays up until you are finished. That has never once been refused.
- For a watching line, the watch ceases when the paid period closes. Detections, training records and case threads created while it ran remain available for the interval the privacy policy sets out.
- On the management lines, devices stop receiving configuration and patching. We will remove management cleanly rather than leaving a profile behind on somebody's phone.
Concierge work
Engagements arranged through the concierge, including physical security work and removal of private information, are quoted individually and this policy does not cover them. The terms for those are agreed in writing before anything begins, and they are never charged through the checkout on this site.
Making the request
Write to concierge@redcarpetcomputing.com using whatever address sits on the account, with the receipt number in it. Funds travel back the same way they came. Your bank decides how quickly, and two weeks is the usual answer.
On a statement the entry reads FORTIFY 24X7, which is what to search for when you go looking for the reference.
